Message Unlike TwinTurbo.net, Morgan and I (and the others who play
admin over there) don't really care if the forum visitors are
our best friends and thus have no sympathy when we would
ban someone or belittle them.

Literally, there were very few threats to ban. It was just a
dumbass post or three and poof, he was gone, he never came
back, and there was no drama.

Stupid posts get deleted, e-mails whining about it get tossed
in the garbage and that's life. There isn't the novel from an
admin feeling the need to explain or justfiy one's actions.

There is also less of the sheep mentality brought on by the
allowance of dumb behavior.

My favorite time was when we banned someone from one of
our boards and they came to the chatroom to whine to us
about it.

"what if i keep changing my ISP...what are you going to do then?"
"Keep adding ISPs to the list"
"what if I join AOL, are you going to ban all of AOL?"
"We should do that anyway"

It's brutal, but it helps cull out the lame, terminally stupid,
useless, and moronic people.
